Where are Meritec based?
Our head office is in Yorkshire and we have points of presence throughout the UK.
What hours are you open for business?
Our core office opening hours are 8am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, but please drop us an email at any time and we’ll do our best to get back to you ASAP.

Its an instant or on-going capacity boost to support your service, we can support with spikes in your workloads, clear backlogs or fill vacancies for as long as you need us.
What types of business processing do you deliver?
Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Quality Assurance, Disputes and Appeals, Subsidy and other Discretional Funds and Grants.
We have lots of policies, local practices and procedures how would your officers work the same as us?
Meritec has been delivering these types of services for over 13 years, we know that no two councils are the same and as such we will work closely with you prior to commencing operational activity to obtain in depth information that we can share with our officers. In addition all of our officers have a minimum of 5 years processing experience on Revenues and Benefits work and are familiar with a wide range of processing and document management systems.
How do we buy your services?
There are a range of options and prices dependant on what you are looking for. You can contract for our services directly, or through a procurement framework.
How do your officers connect to our IT infrastructure?
We generally follow two different connection methods dependent on the requirements of the individual council.

Our preferred method is to connect using Meritec managed hardware where you provide us with a URL to a remote desktop, otherwise we will connect using LA managed equipment.

We currently offer course on Fraud, Mental Health and Digital (Cyber) Wellbeing, however we are constantly evaluating our portfolio so keep your eyes peeled for more subject matters coming soon.
