Meritec have been providing an extensive programme of revenues and benefits training for over 10 years, whatever your training or development needs, we ensure they are met and your expectations exceeded.

Our trainers are IRRV qualified and have years of experience, we specialise in providing trainers that fully understand the legislation and its practical application and most importantly have the skills to convey this knowledge to trainees.

Our feedback is excellent with the majority of our customers using our services as part of an ongoing relationship. We carry out training for regional groups as well as individual councils.

Courses

The basis of our approach to training is to provide competitively priced, accurate, totally up to date, high quality course materials delivered in an understandable manner by trainers that know the subject well and can relate the legislation to the real working processes that staff understand. Debate and participation are encouraged and learning is supported by case studies and exercises with close support from the trainers.

Fees and T&Cs

Meritec courses are charged at £475 per day+vat, with discounts available to anyone purchasing courses as part of an annual training programme (ten days or more).

Our courses are based on the assumption that the Council will provide:

  • A suitable training room
  • Media equipment – (PowerPoint) projector, screen and flip chart
  • Appropriate refreshments for students during the day
  • A delegate list prior to training

Unless otherwise requested, courses start at 9.30am and end at approximately 4.30pm – throughout day breaks for refreshments and lunchtime. The fee includes the course programme and delegate documentation as outlined in the course details.

Cancellations are chargeable at the full course fee if less than a week notice. Where notice exceeds a week then only expenses incurred (ie hotel costs) will be charged.
