Meritec have a well established and proven track record of providing Revenues and Benefit systems managed services to Local Authorities. This started with the provision of support services for Council Tax, Benefits and BRATES on mainframe systems, and we continue to host and maintain some of these legacy applications for customers. With the evolution of client server technologies Meritec moved into supporting a variety of different Revenues and Benefits software applications including Anite Pericles, Northgate, Capita and Civica.

Hosted or On-premise

As a flexible and agile organisation Meritec support a number of clients, each with their own unique requirements. For some of our customer we provide a remote DBA service whereby we maintain the environment which is hosted on hardware located at the Local Authorities site. Alternatively we also provide full hosting solutions whereby we purchase, host, maintain and manage all of the infrastructure required to deliver the service. In this scenario, the hardware is typically hosted at one of our Tier3 data centres and we can also provide full resilience and disaster recovery services.

Windows, Solaris or Linux

As well as having many years experience in supporting a variety of the core Revenue & Benefits software packages, our expert team of consultants have an in-depth knowledge of running and supporting the software on all three of the Operating Systems on which they run. Our experience and expertise means that we are ideally placed to tweak the underlying Operating Systems and processes to maximise the performance of your systems. Each OS / environment has it’s own anomalies and quirks and by knowing these inside out we can offer our customers real value.
